Stop Making Sense is a title sequence I created for the Talking Heads concert film as part of a university motion design project.
My aim was to capture the essence of the original film by designing a textured, stylistic title card that evokes nostalgia, theoretically used for A24's remastered release. I used iconic imagery, such as the lamp and the big suit, to build excitement for the film that would follow.
Below are some stylistic/ texture experiments that I used to craft the overall look of the final title sequence.
